| Brought home a couple new guns today ...
Stopped by the LGS to renew my indoor range membership yesterday. Asked if they had any SR-22s in stock and was told "Sorry, no".
When I got home, there was an email saying they just came in. So, this morning I traveled to the store to check it out.
Man, were they busy .... cold Saturday and nearly no place to park. But, the owner saw me when I walked in and asked if he could help. I asked to see the SR-22 and as soon as I racked the slide and felt it in my hand I knew it was mine.
Then, asked if he had any LCR-22s. "Yes, I do", he said. I handled that gun, too.
"I'll take them both", I said. Good prices IMO. And, I was in and out in less than 30 minutes ! Impressive with the amount of traffic at this big store.
I'll take them to the indoor range Monday and try them out. I'm sure they will be a hoot to shoot. (I actually bought them for my GF, but I can't wait to shoot them myself !)

And, I may sell a couple Walthers that could pay for this purchase as well.

Congradulations on the purchase! I have 10/22's...and am comfortable with them, but I would definitely be interested in hearing how the LCR in .22lr shoots! That's one I am wanting myself! I just wish they would chamber it in .22mag! I think that would be an awesome little gun then!

You do realize that you left Earth for the moment and went to some alternate reality, right? You may be the only mortal to get both of those guns at one time.

Altho, I'm not much of target paper puncher, shooting indoors pretty much keeps one from doing much of anything else. Still it'll be fun.
Oh, and I hope my GF likes shooting them as well. She'll have to wait, tho .... work beckons. |

Congrats on the new guns. Let us know how the SR22 shoots. I've been reading a lot about them. Kinda makes me want one also.

Would you mind posting the pricing $$$$ of your new purchases as compared to the MSRP. I'll be looking soon for the SR-22 to replace my Mosquito.
Thanks

Nothin' better than bringing home a new Ruger except bringing home two new Rugers!
