I have two rifles, a Remington 550-1 and an old J C Penny single-shot bolt action. My first-ever gun was an H&R Model 999 top-break 22 revolver. I am watching the ads for another of those classic guns to take me back to the days when shooting was cheap and easy from our desert home in SoCal.

A lot.

3 10/22s
2 Mark IIIs
1 Mark II
1 Standard
1 Single Six
1 Single Ten
1 SR 22 (a second on order).

There is just something about 22 caliber that does it for me.

Older model 10/22 with 10 power scope.
New stainless 10/22 with Mannlicher stock and 9 power scope.
SR22 pistol.
Stainless MKIII hunter (thinking about a mini halo sight).

I have 3 22 caliber long guns. If I can find a reasonably priced H & R 999 Sportsman, That would be a replica of my first ever handgun purchased at age 16, over 50 years ago. I see them around, but am unwilling to cough up close to $300 for one.
