I bought

Forty five minutes ago I placed my order wih Brad at Bud's Gun Shop. As some of you know, Ruger made big changes to their web site over the weekend. Of course they removed their Cat.# KP512MK3RP Model# 10146. This is the 22/45 Hunter- 5.5" stainless barrel - plastic grip frame - Cocobolo grips - 32 oz. Fortunately Brad said they have it in stock.

I haven't had a gun in my hand in thirty years. So I visited every local shop and surfed the web for hours every day for weeks. Anecdotal after anecdotel on every model from every brand, or so it seemed. I finally made up my mind and just at that moment Ruger's website implied:

"Dumby, you over studied! Idiot, don't you know what TMI means?Slow poke, get a grip and pull the trigger; if its not to late." I was motivated

Seven to ten days to delivery. I can't wait.

Glad you got one. I just got one for Christmas from my parents. Of course, I've been tinkering with it and have it just like I want it, but it's still a Ruger 22/45 Hunter with the 5.5" barrel.

You're going to enjoy it. Sweet little gun!!

I'm not sure of the exact model numbers but it is a 22/45 Mark III with the 5.5" fluted SS barrel and coco-bolo grips (which I've since replaced).

I have a VQ accruing kit, UltraDot and hogue grips on mine now.
