| Adjusting Mark III sights
Anyone here ever adjust the sights on a Mark III? I just had our new one at the range with the kids and it appears to shoot about 2" to the left at 15 yards.

yup, pretty easy to adjust with the big screw on the top of the sight and the smaller one on I believe the right side.

Welcome,I assume that you have fixed sights, are your groupings dead on at 10 feet ? If they are the sights are not the problem,A good Gunsmith can drift your rear sight however it needs to go,or you could just install adjustable sights rear. let us know how you made out at my 10 foot test. good luck

It has fixed sights.
I had it at the range again today with two of the other kids. I didn't shoot from 10' (I hadn't read this yet) but I did shoot from 12 yards. They were consistantly to the left about 2", but this could actually be me. I'll try from feet this week and post that here.

As silly as it may sound. Try putting more of your finger on the trigger. Makes it pull to the right some when you shoot

A gun is still new to you when you're adjusting sights, so your technique may need adjustment for that gun. A rest helps remove some of "you" from the equation. Once the equipment is right, you can tell what needs improvement on your part.

Shooting from 10 feet the shots were pretty much dead on target. The groups also improved at 10 yards. So, the problem was me, which really isn't too surprising. I think I expected to see the shots to group low if it was me causing the problem, and since they were grouping to the left instead I assumed it was possibly the sights.
Thanks for the help guys.
