| MY first Ruger 22 pistol ( LOVE IT )
I just recently bought my first 22LR pistol .. been wanting one for quite sometime and a few weeks ago i was in a large hunting store here in Ohio and they had the Ruger MKIII Target 22/45 with 5 1/2" heavy barrel on sale brand new for $249 .. i have been having so much fun shooting this and the ammo is cheap enough to go have a great time for hours ( been using Blazer 22LR and bought boxes of 525 for $14.99 )
- just added a UltraDot to it and can't wait to go shoot it and sight in the red dot

I've had one for about 4 years now and it's my favorite to shoot. I have a BSA Red Dot on mine. Never had a problem with it, other the more I shoot it, the more I want to shoot it. I found that Federal bulk pack and CCI Mini Mags shoots well in mine.

Picking up a mosquito tomorrow with a laser and light. I'm hoping I'll have some cheap fun also after I polish the feed ramp. It's tough to get any kind of deals or sales here in NJ because it takes a month or more to get a permit then that's only good for 90 days and if you get more than one permit at a time you can only use one every thirty days.

I have a Millet red dot on my Mark III Hunter with the 6 7/8 inch barrel. Use the sights from the Hunter on my 22/45. Both are great shooters.

Love my MK III, hunter model. Great guns, dont let the take down deter you either, it gets easier as you do it more.

Only your first huh? These are Lays Potato Chips of pistols. You can't have just one.
