Looking to buy 22/45 III #10140

Haveing trouble finding one, Want to be able to interchange grips.(Have a big PAW). This is replaceing my S&W 422 (original owner) that blew up in my face cracked barrel and frame useing cci target ammo. S&W customer service is much to be desired right their with BARFFETTA i guess thats why i am down to one S&W product after this event. Thanks Terry. PS always where shooting glasses!.

You won't go wrong with that handgun.
I have the 10110 (stainless).
Presume you are buying new?

Yes I would also consider the #10145 (slab side stainless). I really like the #10146 (fluted hunter optic sight stainless) $460 and up new but its out of my price range for a rimfire. I train with .22 so i plan on putting 300+ rounds a week thru it. The model you have is also very nice!. I looked at a Walther P22 Cheap pop metal slide i do not think it would hold up to my kind of shooting!. COOL looking .22 though i will give it that. Terry

I have both the 22/45 slabside and the MKIII target both are a pleasure to shoot
just take your time and look around you should be able to get either for under$400

Found a model 10145 ss slab side bull with cocobolo grips $333.00 At Fred meyer store beat everybodys price + got reward points for GAS so now i can get gas and go shoot (LOL). I love Rugers. Thanks everybody for your input can not wait to get it special order. Sent my cracked frame S&W 422 to factory will keep you guys informed of what happens from Smith. Hope they stand behind their product better than BARFFETTA. Terry NORTHWEST OREGON
