2) change grip panels to change grip texture
3) change grip panels to change thickness
4) finger grooves can be added
5) etc, etc... basically it gives you better looks (IMO), and more options.
I'd buy the RP. I bought mine before they were avalible (and didn't know they existed). I went through a long search to find a wraparound that would fit to my liking. the RP would have been one trip to the gun shop.
P.S. the pacmar slip-on for a CZ 75 fits the 22/45 like it was made for it.
I just visited the Ruger web site and there is no such thing as a "22/45 RP" listed there. Can someone please tell me what you folks are talking about?
For me, the standard 22/45 is just too thin to be comfortable... the RP vesion is thicker, and fits my hand perfectly....
