There I was, minding my own business, perusing Gunbroker, when out of nowhere I somehow bid on and won a NIB Ruger Mark IV Competition!
Should arrive next week, at which point I will have to sneak it into the house and into the safe without the wife noticing.
And, now I think I may need to sell the Beretta Neos to help offset the cost of the new Ruger. I don't need two large frame .22 pistols. Then again, I didn't NEED the Mark IV either.
My last three or four guns were bought "accidentally" from Gunbroker auctions. Not sure how that happens either. But hey- you got a really good new gun.
Lucky dude! You will like it, I love mine.
I had a similar experience. I bought some raffle tickets from a buddy in a motorcycle club. I had forgotten I even had them and I won a brand new XDs.
I really didn't have a use for another carry gun, so I traded it for a NIB Henry .22 lever action rifle. It wasn't worth as much as the pistol, but I got something I wanted, the other guy got the same.
