New 22/45 Tactical - Old Manual

I picked up my new 22/45 Tactical yesterday. I noticed that the manual only had the regular MK IV on the cover and did not mention the 22/45. I probably have one of the first Tacticals to come out. I checked the Ruger.com website and saw the newer manual that had the regular MK IV and the MK IV 22/45 on the cover. I called Ruger and they are sending me an updated manual. I also requested any addendum on the 22/45 Tactical which was not shown in the manual on the website. The new guns are coming out fast and the manual is lagging behind.

Glad they are sending you a new manual. I usually rely on downloads for "minor" updates, but your entire gun was missing.

That's where the OP discovered there was a new one. However; he did feel that he should have a printed manual that addresses his gun. He only bought it Tuesday.

Agree. I like to have a hard copy manual for my guns when I can.

Glad I read this post. I also have the same manual with a brand new 22/45 Lite in all black. I'm going to request the updated manual as well.

Update - Today I received the "new" manual for the 22/45 Tactical. What I received was the old manual with an insert about the barrel nut on the 22/45 Lite. It was not the manual shown on the Ruger.com website. I called Ruger and I was told that they do not have any copies of the MK IV manual shown on their website. They only have the old manual and are including the insert about the 22/45 barrel nut.

So, go to the website and save a copy of the "current" manual to get the info about the 22/45 series.

Nice! It looks like they fixed a number of duplicate part number problems on the exploded diagrams.
