Mark 2 slabside (competition)

Have a mark 2 sladside marked competition on barrel was debating on upgrading voltquartson trigger, hammer, sear kit,does anyone know if they have any special parts,or just like a standard mark 2 as far as trigger grp goes

The mark ii all have the same internals. It's only the barrel/sight configurations that vary between models.

The VQ trigger and sear will give you a great trigger. I prefer the OEM hammer with a Clark Custom oversize bushing and pin. It really cleaned up a lot of slop in my mark ii trigger group.

The VQ hammer is lightened up and needs to be matched with the VQ bushing. FWIW, some claim the lighter hammer increases failures to fire. I haven't tested this theory, and so can't add any more than just what's been reported.

I have generally had great luck by just changing the sear (and spring ) out and leaving the rest factory. The trigger itself would be my next step. Rarely do I bother "upgrading" the hammer with more than some polishing..

Thx guys,put the sear and Tandemkross hammer bushing in my 22/45 lite,lookin to upgrade my slabside and KMK 10 Mark2s,always get grt advice here

Went ahead and ordered 2 voltquartson sears and hammer bushings,will see how much that helps my slabside and 10KMK SS
