Mark lll FTL

My Mark lll is trying to double load. When I rack the bolt, the first round starts in the chamber, the other starts up on the ramp and jams the bolt. Any ideas why? Thanks

Yes, but, I had the action, and, the magazines tuned, and, polished, and, don't know what else was done. I didn't have a problem until then. Looks like the bullet is nose up to far in the magazine. Thanks

Who did the tuning for you? Hopefully, they didn't round over the rear feed lips.

Any aftermarket modifications? Sometimes, a new part will fix one problem and create a different one.

Sounds like the lips are to wide. Assuming you have more than one, try adjusting, squeezing the lips in a little on one until it loads properly. Snap caps would be helpful for this. I usually only load 8 rounds.

Try some unmodified mags if you have one or can borrow one. That should help identify the problem.
