thanks for the photos, thats NOT what I experienced. Mine has alot of small pitting, I was not smart enough to notice them when I purchased it until i did my 1st cleaning BEFORE I went to the range for the 1st time. I sent the photos to Ruger, they said its carbon that gets slammed up in there and advised that I clean it more often. I said that it came that way,,,, they said it should be fine,,,,, Alrighty then! I wont even go into the 2 little dings in the feedramp that I noticed while cleaning,,, same response. Thanks for sharing
