I have been shooting mine for years. I mostly shoot Federal in the blue box, however it eats any ammo I have fed it. One of the most reliable 22.cals I have ever shot. I have heard this before about some of the newer models not liking standard ammo. Or maybe just certain guns. They are so easy to cycle. Even racking the slide is so easy. I would look at maybe deburing the gun. And also deburing the magazines. I did this to my Bersa and it made a huge difference. I can find a video later of the best procedure to do this if you are interested. These guns should eat any ammo.

I have used the pattern for every semi-auto .22 I have purchased since then and it has proven to be true every time.

Clean it thoroughly, lube it lightly and run a few hundred high velocity rounds through it and maybe then you can use that other ammo.

Good luck and have fun. Love my SR22.
If this ^^ dont work, it probably aint gonna work. . Pitch it.
