New Ruger Mark IV Lite 22/45 with VQ Accurizing Kit

I just installed the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit, however, on the last shot the round magazine chambers but the hammer does not cock. Ammunition is 15 year old Remington Bulk .22 Target. Look closely in my video on the last round I attempt to fire, and after the FTF I clear the chamber with the live round.

I produced a video, however my post count is too low to hyperlink.

This morning after a thorough cleaning, I tested it again loading 2 rounds in the magazine. Zero FTF and bolt locked back on the last round. (5 trials)

I have close to 100 rounds through the Mark IV, so maybe it was just a simple break in period.

Nice video!

I'm about 1,000 rds in my MKIV Lite 22/45 and it's been pretty picky about preferring high velocity CCI and Federal. I stocked up on CCI Mini Mags for now.

I love the TK Victory Trigger, but it doesn't lighten the pull much on its own. I'll pickup the VQ kit in the next couple of weeks and see how that feels.

Thanks for sharing!

Just put the VQ trigger kit in my Mark IV 22/45 Lite this morning, took it to the range and shot Federal, Winchester wildcats and Remington golden bullets and had no problems. The only problem I had was the slots in the rear sight are so thin I had to use my knife to adjust the turn them. Especially the elevation screw. Has a nice 3# pull.

Since the sear is over 90% of the trigger pull, couldn't just the sear be replaced without replacing other parts in the MKIV's.

I have noticed since I put my kit in, it did away with the sling shot mod. So now I have to hit the slide release instead of puling the bolt back and letting it go. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

Retract my previous post I dropped the spring that puts tension on the slide release beside the trigger. So that was my problem. Hope this helps someone else.
