I also have one with a TRS25 red dot. Great shooter. I tend to use it as a "warm-up" before practicing with my CC. I also shoot metal plates and plink. I thought I would like my 2245 heavy barrel, but the Lite move/transitions quick from target to target. Nice pistol.

I have one and I'm very pleased with accuracy using the stock sights. I'll likely look at a red dot for it but the gun was purchased for a suppressor. While I like the heavier Mark III the Lite is fun to shoot and points quickly. Can't wait to shoot it with the suppressor.

totally subjective but it does not feel good to my hand but to me a glock and a luger and colt single action does not feel good and that makes e by far the exception

I bought the first model, the gold LITE. I now have over 7,000 rounds through it, and its been flawless. While it may be too light for some people, compared to my other 22/45s, it carries with ease. If you are an outdoorsman, camper, fisherman, small game hunter, its perfect. I can shoot mine as well as my heavier 22/45s, but some people prefer the steel guns for target shooting.

Ruger hit a home run with the LITE. Based on my experience, I recommend it.

I've owned a 22/45 with the bull barrel and now a 22/45 Lite. I much prefer the balance of the Lite (the 5-1/2" bull barrel always felt kinda top heavy to me).

My daughter has now laid claim to my Lite so eventually I'll add another Lite, possibly a Mark IV model in the future.

I have a Mark III 22/45 with the 5.5 inch bull barrel and like it but not as much as my new Mark IV 22/45 Lite.

Here it is dressed up with a new pair of Stoner grips and a C-More Railway sight.

I like it a lot. I've put over 5000 rounds through it and it will feed any ammo I try. I managed to convert my Mark III magazines so they can be used in both guns.

The lighter gun can transfer from target to target much faster which I find important when shooting Steel Challenge matches. I also like that the magazines simply fly out of the gun when you want to change them.
