Got my Volquartsen trigger kit today
I finally got my VQ trigger kit today. I ordered it from Volquartsen a month ago. I called last Monday and they said it was on it's way. The next day I got an e-mail saying it was backordered for another 4 weeks.
I received a box with the invoice for the kit but nothing else in the box.
I have since cancelled the order and ordered from another vendor, Rimfire Sports.com. They had them in stock and delivered it in 3 days. And they were cheaper and no shipping.
Today I decided to install the kit. It was very simple. Except for reinstalling the safety everything went well and I was done in 30 minutes.
The benefit. It took my horrible stock trigger from 5 lbs 14 oz. to a respectable 2.5 lbs. I always felt like the safety was still engaged before, now with the new bushing and no more magazine disconnect it breaks like a glass rod.
Next investment is a Tandemkross Victory Trigger. I've tried them and they are really nifty.
Here it is with a new set of Stoner Grips and a C-More Railway sight.
