Took the mark bros. out today

Well fired a ton of rounds today with 2 new mkIV targets, a mkIII target, a mkII standard and a mkII govt. target.
Various ammo from old Winchester stuff I bought as far back as 2003 to new federal target, and a few other varieties
No real problems other that a few ftf which was all due to ammo quality and over all just a ton of fun
A couple things to note, first the mkII govt. target is hands down the best performer ( keep in mind all these are factory original ) the mkIII was plenty accurate but is the most finicky of the bunch and always has been, the mkIV's performed well but will need some trigger work or replacements to bring them up to or surpass the older versions
The blued mkIV's rear sight started moving sideways in its dovetail, repositioned and set the screw, so the point is check those screws and pins

This is what I really liked about the mkIV, one round went puff so I was worried about a projectile stuck in the barrel, so guess what, Whalla unload, check chamber, etc. hit the button, remove the receiver/barrel, remove bolt, look through barrel, unobstructed and put her back together and be up and running inside of about a minuet or less
OTSTANDING this was the big plus and right then and there my mind said this will be the one I use most

I think everyone knows all this but just thought I would share my thoughts
