Smile Great service from Ruger

I recently purchased a SR22. After firing about 200 rounds I noticed that the takedown lever was damaged. I contacted Ruger who provided a RMA and UPS label. It was picked up, repaired and returned very quickly... 5 day turnaround... great service. After 1000 rounds there is no damage to the takedown lever... all good.

Great service...

Welcome aboard: Glad they fixed your pistol. Now the only problem you may have is keeping it supplied with ammo.

Welcome aboard, I've bought quite a few new Rugers, and never had the cause to take one back for repair, as I've had thousands of rounds ran thru them in that time. My only contact was with Ruger for a part on a 3 screw I was repairing for a customer. After requiring the serial number, they informed me that they would have to do an update (install a transfer bar) before they could provide the part. Needless to say I got the part from Numerich Gun Parts. Can't say as I blame them though with all the litigation regarding firearms any more.

Incidentally it is an outstanding company to do business with.
