MK IV - Bore-sighting made easy.

I have a new MK IV Hunter I just put a Bushnell First Strike on. The MK IV take-down system makes it very easy to bore-sight any sight.

Just take the receiver off and remove the bolt. Mount the receiver in a padded vise or other holder. then pick a target about 25 yards away that you can see when you look through the bore. Then just adjust the sights (iron, red dot or scope) so they are on the same target that you see through the bore. You will need to shoot the gun to do any final adjustments that may be needed.

Then just re-assemble the gun and done.

Easy!

That's how i bore sighted my Mk III 22/45 Lite, only difference is it takes a little longer to get the bolt out, not a big issue.

I have such a bone for the MKIV Hunter, I sure don't need it but I don't own a .22 pistol...yet.

You don't own a 22 pistol. Then you NEED a 22 pistol, end of story.
