Update: Scott (VQ) is sending me a disconnector as that's reported to resolve the issue.

Just for grins I tried it with a VQ disconnector and there was no change.
Based on what I've been reading from others, the fact that my VQ hammer stays horizontal vs the factory one not doing so might have nothing to do with my kit not working - it might actually be solved by the disconnector.

I think my factory hammer behaving slightly different from yours is probably just variation within manufacturing tolerance.

If everything works great once the disconnector arrives, then my advice to anyone ordering a VQ kit for their Mark IV will be to either wait until the revised sear is released or make sure you get the disconnector too.

Is this an issue with the Mark IV 22/45 or all Mark IVs?

Found a local retailer that had the Volquartsen disconnector in stock (it's the same one as for Mark II and Mark III), and...

Everything solved! My Mark IV Hunter works like a million bucks now, that is a very nice kit.

Highly recommend getting the VQ disconnector as well if you're thinking about the accurizing kit for your Mark IV. Seems to not be needed for some, your mileage may vary.

Got the Mark II/III disconnector from VQ. Once installed, everything works perfectly! 2.5lb trigger pull. I strongly recommend getting the VQ disconnector along with the Accurizing Kit for the Mark IV 22/45 Lite.
