Very nice specimen, my Dad had one years ago that he used to check his traps with, unfortunately he traded it over even for a beagle dog to chase cottontail rabbits with many years ago. If only I'd have known back then.

That is one tasty hunk of iron! I completely understand the attraction to it! I am the same way with No. 1's (right now)!

That is one fine find. How many of us have said the same about gun sales we made?

Boxes/manuals for the old standards pop up on eBay quite often and are reasonable(ish). You really have to do your research to find out what colors, patterns, etc.. are correct for your year of mfg.

Here are some boxes.

ORIGINAL RUGER STANDARD PISTOL BOX RST4. | eBay

ORGINAL RUGER STANDARD PISTOL BOX RST4 | eBay

I found these by searching "Ruger Box". i didn't copy the $124.99 box. Just a tad expensive. These look to be of the correct style but I really don't know.

I found a manual on GBroker.

http://www.gunbroker.com/item/621061644

$39.95. It was listed earlier but did not sell, so you may get it for that price.

16 hours, 8 minutes to go.

I've got a manual, if you're still looking for one. It's like the one on gunbroker.
