Single Six barrel length?

I'd like a 9.5" barrel I can swap out with my 6.5". how much work is it to change, how much might I pay for one, and how much might it help accuracy, decrease noise, and increase velocity? I already know how much cooler it will look.

Stainless, BTW.

If you are looking for a factory barrel I would think your only hope would be to contact Ruger. They only made the KNR9 for a year or two as I understand it. I have heard maybe only 1500 stainless 9.5" made. 1974-75 . I doubt they have any extra barrels but who knows. If you find anything out, let us know about availability and price.

A friend showed me a six with a 9.5"...too long.

What are you planning on doing with the gun? Carrying it with that long of a tube is going to be tough. It will be very nose heavy and slow.
On the other hand, it would be a good hunting gun or slow fire plinker.

Well I was thinking if it wasn't too much trouble to switch I would switch as I wanted for different uses, but I'm just gonna stick with the 6.5".
