Hello All,
I finally got one of the MK 4 Hunter with Target Grips this past weekend. Went to the range and really had a fun time getting this new gun broke in. No problems with any ammo that I tried. The accuracy is amazing and the gun looks and feels awesome. I have a 1970 Colt Huntsman and the Ruger is equally as good a shooter. Maybe even better.

I am thinking about some type of red dot sight because as my eyes get older the iron sights just aren't as good as they should be for me. Any suggestions on an Optic for this pistol?

Thanks

Cool looking grip panels, OP.

Ah, you Mark IV guys will never know the joy of perfecting the take-down technique for a Mark III/II/I LOL.

OP, where did you say you got those grip panels?

I am very familiar with taking down MK1, MKII and MKIII Rugers . . . have owned them all and still do...

The Grips came from RUGER.COM.. Just go to the PARTS AND ACCESSORIES page and MKIV.. or click the link below . .

Very happy after installing the VOLQUARTSEN MKIV TRIGGER UPGRADE KIT. Trigger weight went from 7pounds to just over 2 pounds. Crisp and snappy trigger.

VOLQUARTSEN has now announced releasing a COMPETITION BOLT for the MKIV in two variations available this June 2017 . . I have used the VQ COMP BOLTS in RUGGER MKII and MKIII and love the smoothness of them. I will have to consider the COMP BOLT for my MKIV...
