Nice! What are the stats for the .460 Rowland, and what did you have to do for the conversion?

SR1911's

Stats on the 460 Rowland , 255 HC-FN 1200 fps., 957 ft. lbs. , 230 FMJ 1350 fps. 931 ft. lbs., 185 JHP 1500 fps. 924 ft. lbs. Kit to convert comes from Clark guns, barrel, 24 lb spring, compensator, two piece long guide rod, fit wery well, have shot over 50 rounds, pistol kicks straight back, no muzzel flip, recoil about the same as the 45 acp equiped pistol, extremely accurate. Inspected the pistol , could not see any excessive wear or damage under magnifing glass.

Very nice! Just looked up the .460 rowland. Never hear of it till now. Impressive ballistics! Is the ammo hard to come by?

Corbon, Buffalo Bore, Wilson Combat, Underwood are just a few that make ammo for the 460 Rowland.

I really want one but can't find a price I'm comfortable with. A nearby shop gets them in regularly for $729 (before tax) but that is the best price I've seen and I'd like to find it for less. Bud's finally got them in but wants $799, as does Cabela's. Otherwise nobody has them.
