offer him less see if he bites, he probably wont in the mess we're in but worth a shot..
One sold on gunbroker for $1339 with $25 shipping.

You can get better 1911s for that price. I would only buy it if you want to collect it as an unfired safe queen. I personnaly wouldn't buy it.

You can get a nice S&W Performance Center 1911 for $1000 to $1400.
