what would you pay for it my lgs has one for $1399 i really like it but im not sure on the price i say its kinda too high but then again its a collectible.

offer him less see if he bites, he probably wont in the mess we're in but worth a shot..

One sold on gunbroker for $1339 with $25 shipping.

You can get better 1911s for that price. I would only buy it if you want to collect it as an unfired safe queen. I personnaly wouldn't buy it.

This is a 1 of 50 Lew Horton Special S&W that I bought for $1,195.00.

You can get a nice S&W Performance Center 1911 for $1000 to $1400.

You could buy a regular SR1911 and a SR1911 Commander for that price.

Bingo! Just another "hey look" aftermarket engraving "collectable". Spend less and get the standard 1911 or spend that same amount and get a REALLY good 1911.
