hello!
I recently just bought my first pistol, a ruger sr9, because I had heard and read so many great things about it. However, my first range experience with it was awful. I used 115 gr federal 9mm from wall mart and my first three mags jammed or fte'd every single round. I shot 200 that day and with many problems. only the last 50 rounds did it not jam/fte every round. maybe every 5-6 rounds it would. either way i am quite pissed off as to how the gun performed and was wondering what could be the cause of it. I broke it down and cleaned it before my shooting trip. could it be the ammo i used? or is it that new rugers take some time to get in good form? the longest it went with out jamming was 12 rounds but that only happened once. either way i am desperate for help!
