Now he shoots just because he likes it. He's a HUGE Glock fan and has several. Because of his reviews he gets a lot of T&E guns (test and evaluate) from manufacturers. When he got his hands on the SR9c, he didn't let go. He wound up buying it because he liked it so much. It's now one of his personal carry weapons.
This coming from a certified Glock nut and expert. He didn't get rid of his Glocks but couldn't part with the SR9c. | Actually he sold the sr9c but kept the sr40c.

Glocks are great, but they're NOT made in America.
Buy American

I don't know a lot about her other than she's one of Hickok45's favorites. I'm guessing she likes the SR9c better but she left it open ended. Good point about the sights. I'm not a fan of the funky Glock sights.

My only issue is that I paid about $60 less then the gun I really wanted, the Glock 19. I've been thinking about selling it then using the cash to purchase the gun I want. I feel I should be happy with what I have. I think I want the Glock because of all the accessories available for it. It would be nice to be able to upgrade and personalize my gun, which I can't do on the Ruger.
With no real issues using my Ruger I don't know what to do. | My advice is:
1. Don't sell or trade the SR9C. You will most likely come out on the losing end. Why? Because if you talk to most gun enthusiasts or check the various forums, most will tell you stories of deeply regretting getting rid of some particular gun in their early lives, and that includes myself. I would hope to save you from making those same mistakes. Learn to get to know the weapon you chose with all it's pluses and minuses, and be content, for now.
2. Be patient and save up the money for the Glock 19 you want. Unless there is some all out ban on Glocks or other semi-autos in the future, you should have no problems acquiring one later.
3. There is a fairly good chance that SR9C will still be worth what you paid for it or even more at some future date.
4. You can never have too many guns! Especially in this day and age. Don't get rid of it unless you are absolutely sure you hate the damn thing!

Guns, especially for SD are very personal choices. Kinda like finding a wife. Same thing doesn't work for everyone.
Once owned an SR9c, but don't any longer.
I had to use Glocks in some training, enough to assure me I will never own one, even if all the cool kids have one. Quote:

Find what works for you, but the grass will always be greener and if you are constantly selling one to buy another you're likely to end up longing for the good ol' days and remembering the one that got away.
