| P95 or SR9???
Hey guys. Im looking into getting something that hold more rounds for the homestead and just something overall bigger than my LC9. I've got roughly $450 ish to spend. Some input or opinions would be awesome. Thanks!

doda ... It's hard to go wrong with either one as they're both great guns IMHO. I've personally shot both extensively but only own (and prefer) the P95 because it feels much better in my hand (especially with the Hogue grip sleeve). I suggest holding and shooting both if you can to see which one feels the best to you . Good luck with your decision.
PS - As a side note, you may also want to hold and shoot a CZ 75b

SR9 all day! its a slim peice, I love mine. I had the same choice to make on my first handgun, I always thought newer meant better but I have heard many good things about the p series. I do love my SR9 though, 4000 rounds with 0 problems

I have both and would not give up either one. For carry the SR9c wins, for home are truck the P95 is the one.

I have both and both are great guns !! Like said before pick the one that fits your hand .. The SR9 is slimmer if you have smaller hands but cost more (around here) or if you have larger hands the P95 may be the way to go, and have some $$ left for more ammo..
Good luck on your Quest .. Let us know what you choose can't go wrong either way ..

My hands are atleast a little bit larger than normal and I feel like the SR9 has the perfect grip. I like having the rubber concave where my girlfriends likes the rubber back strap on the flat side.

I carry a P95. I kinda like that it's a little chunky. It fits my hand better then the sr9.
It's also very easy on recoil, I've never shot an sr9 but glock 19 is def snappier.
P95 def has a long 1st trigger pull but the resets are nice and short.
I've never had an issue with mine in about 900+ rounds.
And I also like the decocker.

I've held the SR9 but my lgs doesn't have the p95 currently. I would have to say I have average size hand and the sr9 felt pretty good. I would also probably end up using either one during winter time for my carry. Thanks for all the input thus far guys! I need to find a p95 to try on now.

own both---carry SR40. SR9 is second choice only because i like the .40 better. that is not to disparage the P95. it is a fine, strong, reliable, accurate weapon. you need to decide which suits you. i like also the fact the trigger is the same from start to finish with the striker fired weapons.

Not to throw a wrench in the works but have you thought about a 12ga shotgun with an extended mag tube? Loaded with #6 or #7 1/2 shot it is extremely effective and the projectiles remain in the house without passing through walls.

SR9 in my opinion. When it comes to guns, it's all just personal preference.
