It is bad enough when you purchase any gun that is defective let alone buy two from the same manufacturer within a two month period of time and both are unusable.
I am commenting on the frequent posts regarding Ruger's great customer service which was not the case for me. Too many posts on here suggest 2-3 week turnarounds. Just wasn't my experience with two repair jobs. Further, I frequently hear that companies appreciate feedback, both good and bad from customers. When I took the effort to write a letter to customer service it didn't even illicit a response. | I understand, and that is bizarre that you did not receive a response from them. When I contacted them about them returning to me a "fixed" gun that still had the same problem, I received an email from the head of customer service less than 24 hours later, on a weekend, offering solutions to fix my problems. Sorry you had such a bad experience JohnD, and I wish you many successful shooting sessions with your Rugers.

Not a problem. And I will add that both guns now perform flawlessly.

Well I must say Im very impressed with Ruger customer service. My SR40c was returned to me on Monday (Exactly 1 week from me sending it in). My trip to the range was great (150+ Rounds) No problems at all. I really like this .40, Great Feel, Nice Recoil, Nice Sights...

awesome glad it's running good for you now.
I hate to see people with the same pistol i have having problems.
I have had some trigger reset issues a full slide detailing seemed to fix it up.
I was almost hoping i would still see issues so I'd have a better excuse to get the galloway kit for it...
so edit thread title to be smiley face now?
