Of the guns that I have bought and not inherited (I can never see parting with any inherited guns) I would keep my XD9 above all others. It fills every role from plinking to defense of self and others.

I can't decide between my SR 1911, My Redhawk .44 Magnum or my S&W 629 .44 magnum.

I have a muzzle loader rifle that has been pasted down in my family for many generations and could not sell it for anything. My three sons are fighting over who gets it when I pass and they would hasten that day if I ever tried to sell it.

That would really be cool. I have an old Sears, Roebuck 12ga pump and a semi auto Remington model 1 that were my grandma's. My sister has tried to get them from me, but uh huh, she ain't getting them!

The first one I ever bought

From a WW2 pilot - a take home, as shipped condition Colt 1911 shipped in 1914.

Bought it about 53 years ago and paid $30

Oh By-the-way I never shoot it would you?
