This may not be the proper forum for this little embarrassment,if that's the case, please move as needed, mods.
So as I mentioned the other day, I really sort of fell in love with my P90TH all over again this past weekend. Went to a LGS to get some more ammo, and found a stainless P90 sitting in a back cabinet in the dark corner of the store. The guy told me it was brand new, and it looked it. No wear marks, no scratches, dings, etc. on the frame, slide, or barrel. Even had those silly paper circle stickers on it still by the safety. Said he had had it for years, just couldn't get anyone interested in it. Now this is a tiny place and it doesn't get much traffic, so I could see it getting overlooked by the Glock crowd. So far, so good!
Well long story short(er), I felt the need to give it a good home. Bought it, took it home, opened it up.... and it only had one mag. Yeah, I know it was my fault for not checking it at the store, totally my bad
. I contact the LGS, and he said that it only came with one mag, and since they no longer make it there is nothing he can do about it, sorry!
I figure Ruger is awesome with their customers, I will call them and find out if they can help me. Nope. Since it is no longer being made they can't ship out a magazine either. Bummer.
The nice lady even went and asked her supervisor about it, so good for her.
They want 40 bucks for one on their on-line store, which seems a
lot pricier than the factory mags I bought for my first one.
So, if anyone gets a lead on some good cheap Ruger factory mags for the P90, not that ProMag garbage please, lemme know, I'm in the market for a few!

Moral of the story: never get so excited about a purchase that you forget to double and triple check that everything is in it.
