1. With the 17 round mag., you can use it at the range & for home defense. With the extension, it makes the grip full size.
2. With the 10 round mag you can use it for a CCW, it works great & would be an alternate to your LC9.
3. Other nice features are the reversible backstrap, rail for accessories & the ambidextrous safety & mag release.
4. You would stay in the same 9mm ammo family as your LC9 & buying in bulk can save some $$$.
Now if you want to go up to .40S&W, all this can be applied to the SR40c.
It's the same size & price as the SR9c & has the features in #3 above.
The mags are 9 & 15 round though.

SR1911 - Step up to the full size fun. It is one sweet shooting 45. I have a boatload of 22's, 9's, and .357's but just a couple 45's. After shooting the smaller caliber guns at steel, jumping up to the big boy is fun. It will RING that steel!

I'll vote for the SR1911 unless you're set on sticking with 9mm. They are so much fun.
Or a good wheel gun would be good too! Don't see many people not like a GP100!

I started with an M&P9FS (was a close call for me over the SR9) for home defense, added an SR22P "for the wife", then an LCP for carry . . . and then a S&W 1911 in .45 which I thought would be a pure vanity pistol
Warning: The 1911 quickly became my favorite shooter . . . and might become yours, whether in .45 or 9mm. My advice would be rent one before you decide . . . any decent one really . . . and you may save yourself buying an extra pistol |

GP100 6" full lug stainless.
A plethora of ammo choices, a gun that puts hammers and anvils to shame, and revolver simplicity and reliability.
