I bought some Fiocchi 90gr. hollow points at a very low price because these cartridges are a longer than most standard 380 rounds. Because of that they fail to work in a lot of 380's Glad to tell you I had no troubles with them at all, fact is I've never had an issue no matter if I was running a defensive round or not. I wonder how many rounds have been put through the gun that is having issues? Some guns do need a break in period of a hundred rounds or so.

I couldn't help myself even knowing it was stupid, but I just had to buy a box of those zombie rounds just to have them.

Well in the case of having Zombie rounds I always say...Its better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them!!

I do not have any experience with the shield. All I know is my LC9 has been fantastic! I read great reviews on the shield. I would try & shoot both. I just like the lines on the LC9, It's so smooth on the edges. The shield looks boxier to me. The SR9c is quality also, so much so I sold my 21 year old Glock 17 to my son.
What is really nice is you could carry it with the 10 round mag & use it for home defense with the 17 round. Great idea!

The Zombie Max is $3 a box cheaper than the Critical Defense at Cabela's.

Thanks for the answer moakes. On the SR9 I totaly agree great gun love mine. It's funny there's something about the lines of the shield I like reminds me of my SR22. Altough I agree the LC9 is alot smoother like my LCP. I guess I'll have try both as see.

My LCP loves CD ammo no problems at all. I have yet to find any ammo it won't function with.

My wife shot some zombie max through her lcp last weekend; no problems at all. I got her one box just for fun. We also shot some Magtech FMC 95gr without a problem. My wife said the gun felt smoother with the zombie max. My dad also had some ammo (sorry I don't remember the brand) but it was a flat-nosed bullet with a sharp shoulder and wouldn't feed at all. Has anyone shot the JHP/XTP in the lcp? I was thinking about getting some of those for her to try.

I bought Zombie rounds for the same reason, a few bucks cheaper. I just picked up my LC9 this past week. I'll be getting some range time come Monday. I hope it likes Sellier and Bellot because I have a heck of a lot of that in 9mm.
