| How many failure to feeds on your LCP
Hey everyone.
I am a little curious how many FTFs you are getting in your LCP.
For me I have had 5 or 6 in 156 rounds. 150 FMJ fired with all of the FTFs and 6 critical defense fired with no FTFs. The most recent range session had 3 or 4 out of 50 estate rounds fired.

The only failure to feed with my LCP was with Tulammo. My LCP hated it. I have had NO FTFs with brass ammo, and thats over 700 rounds. I did also find some coating(blueing) caked under the extractor, that may have caused the problem also. I dripped some oil into the extractor area and then worked the extractor back and forth MANY times with a tiny precision screwdriver, and its been great since. Wonderful little Pocket Rocket.

The round gets jammed in the slide after the previous round ejects. I have to pull the magazine out (it wont drop when this happens) and then the slide slams closed with the round in the chamber. Is this a true failure to feed? or is this a jam?

Wonderful little Pocket Rocket. | Only problem I had( in 750 rounds) was Herter's( Cabela's) yellow box Russian Berdan-primed steel case ammo which the LCP did not like. Every thing else was great. Very nice pocket .380.

I emailed Ruger today about the issue. They said if I call somebody from CS may be able to talk me through the issue. Not sure how they can solve the issue over the phone but I am hoping!

Are you positive you're not limp writing it? |

None with my wife's LCP in several hundred rounds. Had a lot of trouble with my similar P3AT. Almost always seemed to be insufficient grip (can't make myself say limp wrist) or magazine that wanted to drop out.

Zero failures of any kind so far in probably 400 to 500 rounds. All ammo has been FMJ Winchester or Federal. Hope you get yours sorted, and let us know the cause if it gets identified.

Pretty sure. I have been taking a lot of time for each shot because I am making sure the laser is to POI and trying to figure out where the sights hit.

I had a few until I placed my finger UNDER the mag and not on the "finger extension". This was Tula ammo though
