Loose trigger on SR1911

Please forgive me if this is a dumb question but should the trigger be able to move side to side and up/down? This is my first 1911 and from what I have read this might be normal.

Other than this potential non-problem the gun has functioned flawlessly

Mine has a little play, don't think you have anything to worry about.

Welcome to the forum.

My trigger does the same thing. It's good to find another gun noob like myself.
