antlerfan ... If functioning properly, the slide will lack back after the last round is fired (with the magazine in place). The P95 does not have a magazine disconnect on any of the models.

Congrats! The P95 is the best semi-auto 9m in the $300 - %350 range. I regret trading mine off. I'll get another one sometime.
The more you use the P95's trigger, the more it wears in & self polishes. I didn't like the new trigger, but after a 1000 rounds the trigger felt better and better.

I have about a 1000 rounds and a few hundred dry fires on mine and the trigger is really smooth now. And mine locks back on last round and does not have a mag safety. Did you get the stainless or the blued P95?

I picked it up this afternoon along with a used Ruger Single Six with the 9.5 in barrel.
I love both of them. I already feild stripped the P95 and wiped it down, it looked like the barrel and chamber had vaseoline on it, wiped out the inside of the slide and reassembled. From just messing with it and handleing it, i cant wait to pull the trigger on some hornady steel match ammo i got

Have fun, I got the SR9 myself since it wasnt too much more and I liked the feel of the gun better myself but after joining this forum, I've heard nothing but good on the P series.

I had mine out to the range yesterday. I have 550 rounds through it to date.
Works flawlessly.
