I guess I'm just not gun savvy enough. I don't see anything ugly about any Ruger.

I used my family pic for my avatar.

It's more of a "Ruger" family photo.

Brother Mark (II M77) is up north.

Of course, cousin SIG had to horn in on the photo-op.

Ugly? Never heard anyone refer to a P series being Ugly! I have always loved the look of the P series, guess I am a die hard since I just haven't warmed up to the SR pistols. I have shot them and they are extremely accurate, but just not for me. The P series is just a robust, reliable, and capable firearm. Bought my P90 first in 1999 and acquired the rest after my first experience with it. I have never had a malfunction, jam, or any problem with mine in over 14 years of regular shooting normally once a week.

I personally think they are pretty ugly as a series. But you know what? Doesn't matter. They work. That continues to be the single biggest measure of worth in a firearm to me. Functionality and reliability. By all accounts the P series has both.

Tacky, I'm surprised you don't have a P95! although you have the other oddballs such as the 91 and 93. The P95DC was my first handgun purchase back in 2001, I once sold it to my cousin and quickly bought it back!

Glock and ugly are usually in the same sentence.

Not so much Ruger.

Its funny you should say that I had a P95PR15 a few years back and loved the pistol. Blued and got it for 300 bucks at a gunshow out the door. But after I took it home and cleaned it I noticed a problem. the hammer pivot pin thats pressed into the side of the lower was working its way out when you racked the slide continuously. You know how its different from the others like the P89 90 91 etc. which extends out the side and under the grip on the right side of the lower. Anyways 2 days later sent it back to ruger for evaluation unfired in brand new condition. Sent a detailed letter of the issue along with the gun UPS next day air to Prescott AZ. Well got it back 2 months later and it still had the same problem, so it got traded on the 944 in the picture. I just haven't gotten back around to getting another one yet. As for the 345 i had a friend that bought one a while back kept it 2 months decided he didn't like it and was selling it for like $250. Before I could get my hands on it a matter of an hour or so somebody had already beat me to it. Oh well , But its on my list to add me one. I have shot it and like it as well.

You know the hardest one to get was the 91 it came from a winning bid on gun broker from Iowa. It shipped to NC twice because the first time the seller (gunshop) shipped it to the wrong address, it got sent back to Iowa, then shipped back to NC to my dealer. That was a quandry.

I am still looking for the P89 with the 30 Luger barrel, and the KP89 in 9x21 just for something different. So if you guys see them on Gunbroker PM me, I am interested.
