I also love mine. Just over 100 rounds of 3 different types of hollow points along with some Winchester FMJ. No issues at all. Shot POA from start to finish. Nice to carry too!

Stay safe,

Ed

Have had mine since August. Trigger pull is long, but smooth. This does require getting use to. No problems with mine since getting it.

Bought my wife a new LC9 put about 50 rounds through it and the flat end of the plastic guide rod broke in pieces and ended up damaging inner and outer springs.
Ruger is sending me out the parts to fix myself because they told me they would have it for at least 3 weeks. I have no faith in this gun thats brand new that has plastic parts that break with only 50 rounds run through it. Back to shopping for a new gun.

I got mine oct 2011 fired 200 rounds trough it that day ,right on target! great little gun ! I got a parker IWB holster and have carried it everywhere (that I can) from that day . I retired the SP101 to range shooting . Best thing I did was install the Galloway hammer and trigger stuff. Now I have 600 to 700 rounds fired no problems !

I just picked up my LC9 last week. I only have 50 rounds through it so far but it performed flawlessly. I comfortably carry it in a recluse pocket holster and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Bought an LC9 in January, and after 200 rounds the trigger failed.

Ruger had it about two weeks, and they replaced a bunch of stuff.

Now it fires just fine, and I've put about 700+ rounds through it problem-free.

It's light, and it works (now), so I'm happy with it. CS was great, and it's ended up a pretty good gun.

I was all excited to shoot my new LC9 in a new indoor air conditioned range, two hours away from home. First mag, my rear sight started dancing all over and sprange apart. Sweet guys at the range had the right size hex that fit the set screw, because I sure didn't, after tearing it all apart to piece it back together. Lucky I was inside and not out in the desert, would never have found the tiny spring! Then we noticed the front sight was super loose, which is a simple dove tail slide. One of the guys has heard of this problem, says Ruger will just mail a new one out. To my surprise, they tell me this is "common." Bummer. All of this amounted to a frustrating day, waste of gas...still put 100 rounds though it to make sure it didn't have any other major issues. Trigger pull was loooong, but you can get used to it for a CCW. I'll let you know the outcome once Ruger gets back to me.

It is a great pistol. Buy one, clean it, including the firing pin channel, lube it and shoot it. It should run all ammo 100%. Clean, lube, and carry. I needed a pistol for summer carry here in AZ., and this gun is perfect. Go for it.

One day and 50 rounds down range.

Got my LC9 with crimson trace laser yesterday and put 50 rounds of 125 grain Winchester NATO through it in about 20 minutes. Accuracy was perfect. Shot POA up to 30 feet. No failures of any kind. This was out of the box with no cleaning prior to shooting. Will try out hollow points next. I've been carrying it in a Blackhawk Size 5 IWB and I hardly know it's there.
My first impression is you can't go wrong with this litte CCW gem.

I ccw mine every day and have fired about 400 rounds. I've used different ammo brands
all standard not +p and all American made not a single problem. It surely has not been picky on what it likes to eat. For sd ammo I like the Winchester Ranger ST 147gr HP.

Lc9

Own a lot of rugers,Dissapointed in this package.only one mag,and a cheap bag instead of a descent box. They really cheapened up on this one.
Mag extractor is terrible for a south paw, index finger pushes the mag button into the thumb creating a tug of war, destroying reload time.Every thing on this gun looks cheap except the price.Add an extra $30 to 60 for your 1-2 spare mags and you could of had a SR9 or SR9C which to me is a much better made gun and comes with 2 mags. I do not recommend this one).

mine is love/ hate also.
my pistol was manufactured in december 2011.
I had a firing pin break, and the pistol rattles like no other.
Though I have fired close to 900 rounds through the pistol and haven't had a single malfunction.
