SR-22 Magazine Finger Floor Plate

Having trouble installing the new Finger Floor Plate on the magazine, the magazine spring seat (release button) does not seem to want to line up to the "Finger" floor plate, any suggestions? I have no issues reinstalling the original floor plate back onto the magazine.
