| Thinking about buying a lc9
I JUST got read of my pf9 and I need a new small gun ,but feeling very nervous after my experience with the pf9 . I think the gun hated me it was a headache
I do have two other rugers a p95 and a sr9c and I love my rugers. I was hoping for some lc9 users to convence me that a lc9 is a great gun for the price. Thanks
Sorry about spelling 10 Min break on my cell

From what I have read the kinks have been in the process of being corrected. I do not own one but a friend of mine does. He was a Glock only guy but he now loves his LC9.

I got one for my wife. She had an issue with the extractor not hooking onto the rim of the cartridge, but that was when it was brand new. We got it and I broke it down, cleaned it, and left it dry. To resolve it, I just put a light coat of oil on it and it worked great ever since. I think it was mostly her limp-wristing it because I had no troubles at all, and she had a few in a row.
I would get another in a heartbeat.

I have several hundred rounds through mine and love it. I've decked it out with CT laser, Handall grip, and stainless guide rod. Highly recommend one.

I love my LC9. I added a Pachmayr slip on. It works great to tame recoil, but be advised the grips are somewhat concave so the slip on does not grip the same as it does on my Glock. My LC9 is very accurate at self defense ranges. I haven't really tested it beyond that range. The sights are MUCH better than the LCP and good in their own right. I have not had any issues with the various ammo I have used. Percentage-wise, it's actually a lot bigger than the LCP (though advertised as only slightly bigger). Similar in size to a buddy's Bersa Thunder 380 but WAY lighter. The only thing I do not like (and most folks here will agree) is that the DA trigger pull is VERY long. It is so long (and with my long fingers) I have pulled it back and it did not go boom!! I have to remember to use the tip of my finger (which I should be using anyway). This is not totally bad given many folks may pocket carry this gun and a long DA trigger pull seems safer to me. Some folks don't like the LCI, mag or thumb safeties. You will get used to, or can ignore most of these. Bottom line. This is a great gun and I would easily buy another for a NYC re-load! I'm trying to convince my Dad to trade in his LCP for one (said the the 9 was not out when he bought the LCP). I think some early versions had some issues shooting straight but Ruger took care of those customers. I bought mine months later and had no issues whatsoever. Whatever was going one, they must have fixed it on later versions. You will like this gun. Still somewhat hard to find, though. I absolutely recommmend it.

Like other have said - I love my lc9! As long as you don't limp wrist you should be good. My wife is too limpy for it but it works great for me. I carry it IWB - it's a little to big for my pockets.

It's a great carry gun. Both thin and light. I carry mine in a Crossbreed Mini-Tuck IWB holster.

I got used to the long trigger pull and have found that although long it is a much lighter pull than my DAO S&W 3953. I don't mind the LCI or the safety. I also have added a slip on Hogue grip which helps. My particular LC9 was made in April and has been flawless in firing everything I have fed it. I think it is a great compact 9mm for the money. Yes the LCP is smaller but for the difference in size I think the extra punch of the 9mm Luger round is worth the size difference.

Got my LC9 last weekend and put the first 200 rounds through it today without a hiccup. I love this gun. I'm able to get 3-4 inch groups freehand at 7 yards easily. The trigger pull is long, but manageable. To me, it's very similar to shooting a revolver DA. I can actually stage the trigger somewhat. I was able to keep a whole magazine center mass rapid firing without any problem.
The LC9 is replacing my LCR in my carry rotation...three more rounds, easier to conceal and much more pleasant to shoot. It's a winner in my book.

Thank you everyone !! I HATE RUGER!!!!!! I went out and bought the lc9 to replace my kel tec and just returned from the range with it . This little gun is so enjoyable to shoot, no failures at all. This is why I hate Ruger, i can't stop buying there guns. I now have 3 rugers and they are great! I can't wait for the trigger upgrade. Will this be difficult to install? Thanks
STAY SAFE!!!!
GOOD BLESS ALL OUR TROOPS!!
