Exclamation

Heck, right now I would settle on the opportunity to actually touch and hold a SR1911... the supply pipeline is still filling?

YMMV,

Held a new SR1911 in Stainless at my local gun shop. Nice $600 gun but it had a $750 price tag on it. Checked online sources, nobody admits to having one. Called Ruger directly, they told me production is behind, but they are building and shipping them in small quantities (various gun distributors getting 10 or 20 each day). As for blue, that would be a welcome addition, but looks like Ruger is being tight lipped on that front. My guess, next year on the blue, 6 months before we see the SR1911 SS generally available.

Ruger can't make the SS model fast enough so I don't think a blued version or a commander version will be available soon. But based on the success of the SS model (I have one tucked away in my gun safe) I am sure Ruger will be expanding their 1911 line.
