I have a P95 and just picked up a new CZ 75B.

Brought both of them to the range, shot the CZ first. All steel frame with black polycoat finished (kind of baked on). Shoots beautifully with very little recoil. Very accurate. Feels great in the hand. This gun will easily outlive me. Field strip and you will see a thing of beauty inside. These guns look to be built for extreme environments, outside of the plastic guide rod which threw me off. But the steel is top notch. You can upgrade trigger, hammer, springs, rods, grips etc. Like a 1911 is that respect.

Back to my trusty P95. Great gun and I'll never get rid of it. After handling the weight of the CZ for an hour or so, the P95 never felt so good.

My SR9C does pretty good, but I really love my Beretta 92FS. It just shoots and shoots and shoots.

Good to hear since I am waiting the 10 days to pick up my 92s. Like you, however, I also want a Ruger; either the SR9 or SR9c.

I like ForPointSix own 9 handguns, and have a P89 I purchased used a year & half ago from Gander mtn. for $ 289. It was like NIB. I'm not that accurate with it, but it never fails to go bang. No matter what I feed it. It never gives me any problems. It is a shame Ruger quit making them.

My wife has an XD9 (not the M) and she loves it. She Probably has about 3000 rounds through it without a single malfunction. As for the external safety, it has a grip safety and the trigger needs to be fully contacted in order to fire.
I also like the SR9 and the M&P. But honestly, for the money, I think the SR9 is the best value out there.
An SR9 will be my next 9mm for sure.

Hey... didn't notice that you already made a decision...

You won't be disappointed with the M&P. A buddy of mine has one and raves about it.

He did have a few feeding problems at first, but those seem to have gone away after about 200 rounds through it. Maybe there were a few rough edges from the factory, but he's got several hundred through it now without any further problems. And it's very accurate.

Congrats on your M&P9c . We bought one for my wife as her eventual carry gun in December and she likes it a lot (good balance, nice sights & very good trigger). In the few times that I've shot it, I've found that the recoil is very mild and that it is very accurate for a compact with a 3" barrel.

I love my SR9 it shoots great and is reliable. I do however enjoy shooting my friends Smith and Wesson M&P compact and my cousin's H&K USP. Shoot before you buy if you can!
