The slide is a bit harder to rack on the new 20lb spring on my new SR9 but nothing that impedes it. Basically didn't get the stainless steel recoil rods for a performance stand point as I did for a durability stand point. Also I like the aesthetics of the shiny end! I could have gotten them in black but liked the polished steel look better. Curious myself as to how or if a slightly stronger recoil spring will affect it? It was recommended by Galloway on their website to use the 20lb spring so I'll see...

Agree the tip on that stainless guide rod gives the business end of that pistol a nice clean look. My only stainless guide rod came stock on my LCP Custom.

I have an SR9c and it's my favorite pistol. I'd be curious how different they shoot for you once you get some side by side time with them both. Also a quick question, did the SR9 come with two mags and a plastic case?

2 mags & cardboard box on the recent SR9. My SR9c came with a 10rd mag/finger ext & a 17rd mag/w grip ext in a plastic case, that was 4 years ago.

Shot my SR9 today & didn't notice any difference with the Galloway recoil rod vs the stock one. It ran like a champ with no malfunctions! Was able to hit my 24" silhouette gong at 50yds, the 11" not so much but finally got it after bench resting on my range bag a few times. Love this pistol so far but love my SR9c a little more. Haven't shot my SR9c in awhile, will have to try & dual wield them some time.

That's my back yard where I paint. Take them out to my local outdoor range to shoot. Usually leave my phone in the truck when I go shooting so I don't loose it. That's why I've never snapped a picture at the range.

Looks nicer than my 9E, Same as my SR-45. My 9E is excellent, sure your SR-9c will be also. Happy shooting.

Very reliable gun, like you along with the ss recoil spring assembly, I also installed the heavy striker spring, smooth it kit and rocket 3.5 trigger reset bar in my sr40 and sr40c. This made both very nice shooters.

I didn't see any holes in the fence Does hanging the chains wide help stabilize the target any quicker ? I like the set up should be good for your pistols.
