Replacement LCP floor plate

After spending way too much for an extra magazine for my LCP (a 7 shot extended), I started comparing the new one with the one that came with the gun. Other than the original being made in Italy and the "Extended Capacity" being made in the USA, they appear identical. They are both marked for 6 rounds. It appears the only other difference is the floorplate ( and possibly the spring, I haven't dissected the mag yet) Does Ruger (or anyone else) sell just the floorplate to accommodate the additional round so that I can convert the original mag to a 7 shot? I e-mailed Ruger, but have not gotten a reply.

Try Magguts. They have parts to make 6 into 7
