Yep I got it. I ordered the wolff 18.5 spring as well. I think the standard SR series use an 18 pound spring so I just ordered the wolff 18.5. This one has idiot marks on it but I also put idiot marks on my Remington.

I don't do safe queens so cosmetic marks aren't a huge deal for me unless its really bad.

The only problem I had with mine - Stainless Steel Commander - was it was really tight when new. Made it a little hard to strip & clean.

With about 4K rounds through my SR1911, the first recoil spring was changed at the 1,700 round mark, and the second was changed at the 2,100 round mark. The signal to change was one or more failure to return to battery. Each old recoil spring was a full 3 coils shorter than the new replacement. Springs are dirt cheap - $2 from shopRuger.com.

Once the springs are changed, no hiccups at all....

are there any know issues with the SR1911? I think this one was made in summer 2013.
Not that I am aware of, had mine at the range yesterday and pout roughly 150 rounds through it. She's dead on accurate, and no issue with the front sight either.

I say buy it if it's a good price ...
