With a little help of course. I like the feel of this gun. About 25 rounds right out of the case. Perfect. Found out that the small grip works for me to get my thumb knuckle more forward. I have a wide hand with short stubby type fingers and it seems this fits best for me. This pistol lets you know it aint no light weight 9mm. It's got some beef to it.

Congrats. I have the 9mm compact and love it. One thing to note, when cleaning, get some cotton swabs to get into the hard to reach areas. I found the trigger getting a little gritty after about 400 rounds until I started cleaning below the firing control assembly better.

I got the thumb safety model but it feels a little too light. Wonder if that could be beefed up a bit. I prefer a safety that has a good snap instead of a click feeling. I have been eye balling this gun for a long time. Well pleased with it.

I also have the model with the thumb safety, but I don't feel it is to light. I have worked with it as far as in and out of the holster; engaging and disengaging it and have had no issues with it going on or off when I don't want it to.

I have a Pro model 9mm and went with the small grip. I haven't shot it yet as I am changing the sights to something I can see. Old eye syndrome has made it impossible for me to focus on the front sight. Good luck with your RAP.

This is the first semi I've ever owned that the ''F'' was not highlighted in red. What is the best paint or marker to daub it with. Thanks guys. Looking for a holster and probably sights also.

The feel was what hooked me. I picked up the RAP compact and a month later went back and got it's bigger brother.

The only thing that was a negative for me was the sights. The three white dots made it hard to acquisition the target at anything faster than a snails pace. I picked up a couple sets of TFX pro's and just got them back from the gunsmith a few days ago. They made all the difference in the world for me.

Congrats on joining the RAP family.

Lou, this pistol is well designed to fit my hand. Put a few more rounds thru it today. ARX ammo is very accurate and the Spear Lawman is also, but the ARX is pricey. From a rest this RAP will do it's job very good. Gotta get sights that I can pick up quicker for my eyes though.
