Problem with sr40

Problem with sr40

Can't load mag it's a pin sticking out preventing the mag from going all the way in... what's the solution??

It looks to me like the only "pin" sticking out is the ejector. It looks to be in the right place. It gets pushed down for slide removal and pulled back up for normal operation.

Please look at your exploded parts view and give us the number of the part that you believe is causing the problem.

looking at my SR40, the ejector should retract in more when the magazine is installed. Remove the slide and move the ejector back and forth, it should move freely, it does stick out a small amount about half the distance as yours. I would give the assembly a good cleaning with Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber, something could be lodged in the mechanism preventing the ejector from retracting fully!

Just looked at my SR40C and the ejector sticks out about half the distance yours does..one pic without mag in and the other pic with mag in.
