Sparks from my SR9?

I was using some cheap ammo and hadn't cleaned in maybe 150 rounds or so. I obviously wasn't focusing on the end of the barrel, but on some shots I noticed there were straight sparks flying out, rather than a "flame cloud". It was random and during the same magazine it would go back and forth between sparks and flames.

Is this bad? I normally use winchester white box but decided to see how the SR9 would handle the really cheap stuff. It performed flawlessly. The trigger pull is settling and I have it sighted in perfectly now. What a great gun!

Cheap ammo probably equals some weird muzzle flash from unburned powder. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks. That makes sense. It was shooting great too.
