Finishes

I have a question about Ruger finishes. I am left handed so i am limited to gun calibers i can buy. Mind you i have right hand rifles but the older i get, i feel it is important for me to have lefties. I bought a 30-06 in Hawkeye a few years ago and it was a matte finish. So last year I wanted a .243 for ground hog shooting and ordered one and got it and its satin blued just as their web site lists. Was there a special run on haykeyes when then came out? There both beautiful rifles but I was hoping they would match and they do other then metal finish. I hunt with both and was really hoping the .243 was that black matte finish. I wont trade for nothing but I would consider purchasing another to match my 06. Antone have any idea of what goes on with finishes? I realize Ruger makes alot in right with different metals and finishes. Lefties only have a limited selection of rifles and I was under the impression they were all the same.

I know it is a single shot but the ruger Number 1 is about as ambidextrous ar a long gun can be and is available in a large number of calibers and variations. It is also imo one of the nicest looking guns for the price bracket anywhere.

No, I have both and there bolt action Left Hand! I just want to know about finishes? I have never seen a matte finish on a Left hand rifle. Its not the satin blue as listed on their website!
