96-22 Range time.

Took my 96-22, Old bull barrel Mk1 and S&W kit gun to the range today. Was using Birch wood Casey swinging spinners at 50 yds for the rifle and 25 yds for hand guns. The 96-22 shoots better than I can. Off hand I hit about 95%. What surprised me was the kit gun I shot it better than the MK1. Most time I shoot auto's better than revolvers. Like that little 96-22 better after shooting it today. TT Shooter did a trigger job on it. That was money well spent.

Nice one, the 96 is lots of fun and can be amazingly good for the design. Tell us about the trigger job, as the stock one pretty heavy.

Sent the trigger housing to TT Shooter. Now no creep or over travel and about 3.5 lb trigger pull. Sure is better than what it was. TT Shooter is a sponsor at Rimfire Central. Money well spent. Think he does 10-22 triggers and gets rid of the spring behind the trigger.
